IIBA CCBA (Certification of Capability in Business Analysis) Certification

The IIBA CCBA (Certification of Capability in Business Analysis) certification is a globally-recognized, vendor-neutral credential designed for business analysis practitioners who want to be recognized for their expertise and skills by earning formal recognition. This certification allows professionals to practice manage, analyze, validate, elicit, and documentation business, organizational, and/or operational requirements. This is a level two professional certification from the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA). 

IIBA CCBA certification exam objectives are as follows:

  • Strategy Analysis (12%)
  • Solution Evaluation (6%)
  • Elicitation and Collaboration (20%)
  • Requirements Life Cycle Management (18%)
  • Business Analysis Planning and Monitoring (12%)
  • Requirements Analysis and Design Definition (32%)

uCertify provides a study guide for the IIBA CCBA exam. The study guide helps you master all the knowledge areas of the BABOK Guide with its interactive learning resources. The study guide is equipped with interactive learning resources to teach all the basic and advanced concepts of business analysis.

Requirements for IIBA CCBA Certification

  1. Complete a minimum of 3,750 hours of Business Analysis work experience in the last 7 years.
  2. Within these 3750 minimum hours required, a minimum of 900 hours must be completed in each of 2 of the 6 BABOK® Guide Knowledge Areas OR, a minimum of 500 hours must be completed in each of 4 of the 6 BABOK® Guide Knowledge Areas.
  3. Complete a minimum of 21 hours of Professional Development within the last 4 years.
